ACCEPTING A JOB OFFER

First of all, congratulations on getting a job offer from us at Jobzoo. The letter of acceptance should be easy – all you are really doing is saying ‘yes please, I’ll take the job.’

Our advice for accepting a job

Like all letters to prospective employers, it is important to remain professional and polite. The letter should also include all your contact details, even though the employer is not likely to have lost them since your application or interview. Before committing to anything, the terms of employment should be agreed.

These include:

  • Salary
  • Working hours
  • Holiday allowances
  • Starting dates

The letter should also include all your contact details, even though the employer is not likely to have lost them since your application or interview.

Attention to detail

As with all letters to employers, check spelling and grammar. Check again or get someone else to check. Mistakes are inexcusable and you don't want your new employer to immediately regret their decision.
