The IT industry is in continual development; therefore employees must be sure to keep up to date with new technologies and develop new skills. It is crucial for the government to adapt to the latest advancements and have the most hi-tech equipment available, and the best teams to use it. Most government employees will have had some experience within the industry before applying.
