BRANDING AND LITERATURE

Branding and corporate literature forms a crucial part of any company’s marketing strategy. A brand is the symbol, name or logo through which consumers most easily recognise a company, its product or service and distinguish it from others.

The marketing material a company produces, known as collateral (brochures, leaflets, digital media and website design, marketing suits and exhibitions) plays a hugely important role in both engaging and informing either existing or prospective customers and small to very large teams of designers, copywriters, planners, account handlers, art workers and directors will be involved in one single project.

Many companies do not create their own marketing collateral; instead they employ design and marketing companies and agencies to design and produce it on their behalf.
