The Royal Marines is a small but powerful part of the Navy – it is its amphibious infantry, operating in the air, on land and at sea. The Royal Marines is only open to male applicants and obtaining a commission is not easy.

Known as the most physically demanding section of the Armed Forces, The Royal Marines are trained intensely in order to deal with the hostile situations their missions regularly land them in.

Any Marine who completes the initial training is regarded as a specialist. Furthermore, after the completion of the training there are 25 different options which Marines can volunteer for.

The Royal Marines offers a diverse and potentially very lucrative career.
