My Digital CV
The Digital CV allows you to go further than the traditional job application by adding a variety of media, including:
- Video
- Photos
- Articles
- Portfolios
Ideal for those with more to show than a side or two of A4, the Digital CV is simple to build and provide you with your own personal URL to share with prospective employers.
This section of the JobZoo CV Zone includes the new and unique Digital CV. The Digital CV is essentially an electronic CV where the same information that you would put on a traditional CV is formatted into a webpage format. Additionally, with the Digital CV you can add more interests, upload photos, videos and attach documents to bulk up the content and give far more comprehensive information about you to a potential employer when taking a new step in your career.
The Digital CV is filled out in the same easy way as the traditional CV, with a step-by-step process of information tabs. By filling out each section in as much depth as possible, the final Digital CV will look better. If you have already filled out a traditional CV, then the information stays the same, simply complete the extra fields marked in red for the Digital CV extras. Upload articles, portfolios, photos and videos and create links from your CV to your previous work or interests. You can put up photos of your schools, interests or artwork, and you can upload a short video onto the main page introducing yourself to an employer. It is also possible to upload a traditional CV to your webpage, so that employers can download a paper copy for them to keep on file.
Having an electronic CV will stand out far more than a simple traditional CV, and will demonstrate your personality and creativity at the same time. Once the Digital CV is completed, you will be given a unique URL that is yours to forward on to whoever you chose.
